Summary: Parletto is a campus-scoped, moderated content feed for clubs and events. There are no direct messages, comments, replies, or user-to-user chat.
1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Parletto (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent/guardian to use the Service.
3) Accounts & Access
Access to Parletto may be limited to specific campuses and may require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity on your account.
4) How Parletto Works
- Moderated content feed: users primarily browse a campus-scoped feed of club posts and events.
- Approved posters only: only authorized/approved club posters (creators/admins) can publish content.
- No user-to-user communication: no DMs, comments, replies, or chat.
- Reporting: users can report posts; reports are routed to campus admins for review.
- Enforcement: admins can remove posts and revoke posting privileges for posters/clubs.
5) User Content
“User Content” means content submitted to the Service, including posts or event listings. If you are an approved poster, you retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Parletto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for operating and promoting the Service.
6) Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or fraudulent content.
- Post harassment, hate, threats, or sexually explicit content.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent club affiliation.
- Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or probe security.
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission.
7) Moderation, Reports, and Removal
Parletto may review, remove, restrict, or disable access to content at any time. We may also suspend or terminate accounts or posting privileges for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
8) Third-Party Services
The Service may include links or integrations with third-party services. Parletto is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
9) Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design and software, is owned by Parletto or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
10) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parletto disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parletto will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.
12) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Parletto may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms or if required for safety, security, or legal reasons.
13) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Community Guidelines
Be respectful
- No harassment, hate, threats, or bullying.
- No sexual content involving minors, and no exploitation content of any kind.
Keep it campus-relevant
- Posts should relate to campus clubs, events, or student life.
- No spam, scams, or misleading promotions.
Posting rules (Approved posters)
- Only authorized club posters may publish content.
- Misrepresentation of affiliation may lead to removal and loss of posting privileges.
Reporting & enforcement
- Users can report content; reports are routed to campus admins.
- Admins may remove posts and revoke privileges for violations.
